Description
Another of Professor Ernest Salmons hops from the early 1940’s Keyworth Midseason has aromas of blackcurrant and fruity citrus which are now back in favour. It is a cross between a Fuggle female and a Wild Manitoban male, but it is nothing like a Fuggle. Once widely grown in UK because of it’s wilt resistance, it gradually fell into out of favour from the mid 1950’s onwards. Very few are now grown but it is still affectionately known here by it’s original code of OR55.
